Exeter
Exeter is the County Town of Devon. The main shopping centre of Exeter has most national store chain shops. There are railway stations at Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central, with many trains going all over the UK - Bristol, London, Plymouth, plus a branch to the seaside resort town of Exmouth.
Exeter airport is 5 miles East of Exeter itself and is close to the main A30 road to Honiton.
The road journey from our Cottage to Exeter City Centre usually takes 40 minutes (dependant on traffic), whereas Exeter Airport is only about 25 minutes away from us.
