The Donkey Sanctuary
Based not far from the town of Sidmouth, The Donkey Sanctuary is home to an estimated 500 donkeys. Set in secluded farmland, visitors keep coming back for the enjoyment of walking among the donkeys and taking in the calm atmosphere.
The Donkey Sanctuary´s main objective is to prevent the horrible suffering of donkeys worldwide. They plan on reaching this goal through the provision of high quality advice, training and support on donkey welfare and care. Each donkey is guaranteed a life of loving care and attention.
