Baldash Cottage, Branscombe - Bed and Breakfast

Recently refurbished baldash cottage is a thatched property nestling in a beautiful wooded valley, providing a perfect hideaway for a special break.

Its position is ideal for walking and observing local wildlife including deer, badgers and buzzards. Horse riding, a donkey sanctuary and golf facilities are also available locally. A footpath leads to the village and beach (2 miles) and the famous south west coastal path. Nearby there is the pretty fishing village of Beer the regency coastal town of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, famous for its fossils and the filming of “The French Lieutenants's Woman”. Also the town of Honiton with its lace and antique shops and 15 miles along the A3052 lies Exeter the regional capital of Devon with its magnificent cathedral.

Inside the cottage, bed and breakfast accommodation consists of:
One downstairs double bedroom with french bed, en suite bath and shower, its own private sitting room with wood burner and door opening into a terrace, where breakfast may be served weather permitting!

Two upstairs gallery rooms, one with double bed, en suite bath and shower; one with twin beds and en suite shower. The upstairs rooms have shared use of the gallery sitting area.

All rooms have LCD or plasma TV’s with DVD player, alarm radio, hair dryer, luxury bedding, soft towels, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, wireless internet access is available throughout the cottage to help you keep in touch or plan your sightseeing itinery. Regrettably we do not have facilities to accept pets also children under the age of 6 cannot be accommodated.
